Cosmic Lotus might seem an unlikely name for a website
that isn't about cosmology or lotus flowers. What's the connection?
As explained in my
article The Spiritual Meaning of the Lotus,
the lotus has not only practical and aesthetic value, but symbolic importance among
various cultures around the world.
The lotus represents qualities like nourishment, harmony,
spiritual development and transformation. It also signifies universal unfoldment, hence the cosmic theme.
CosmicLotus.org emphasizes striving for self-mastery and spiritual
realization. Both processes imply taking responsibility for our life experiences, becoming more heart- and
spirit-centered and courting a metaphysical worldview that grows ever more inclusive.
They also mean cultivating spiritual virtues, approaching health and healing
holistically, and seeking spiritual understanding of the cosmic laws of life from Life Itself.
Right relationship and right livelihood are also important, as are
grasping the body-mind-spirit connection, holding ourselves to high standards, communing with nature,
walking in balance and practicing environmental stewardship.
Beyond these basics, there are many paths leading to the Source: prayer,
meditation, mysticism, devotion to God/Goddess, selfless service, spiritual studies, psychic intuitive development,
etc.
Whichever spiritual path you follow, CosmicLotus.org seeks to support you
with useful metaphysical, spiritual and holistic healing content, as well as holistic life coaching, meditation counseling,
spiritual counseling and psychic services centered on meditation, animal medicine, and goddess energy.

Playing and singing music with others is balm for the soul, and it allows us to
come together with other people and connect with them in a whole new way. That's why I'm uploading my entire
personal songbook to this website.
You'll find all genres of music in this growing collection: pop, rock, sweet soul, R&B,
blues, soft country, bluegrass, TV and movie themes, show tunes, folk-rock, and folk music (both traditional and 60s folk revival). Some songs are in Hawaiian and Spanish.
You needn't know how to read music to play from these song sheets, as they are laid out with lyrics and chords in common tablature. You can print the song sheets to start, to supplement, your own songbook. Why not invite your music-making friends over soon for a singalong?
See My Songbook on the navbar at left.
